"Daring more progress: Alliance for freedom, justice and sustainability" is the title of the coalition agreement drawn up by the Social Democrats, the Greens and the FDP. The goal is to reduce CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030. Wind power and solar energy are to be expanded much faster, so that 80% of electricity consumption will be covered from renewable sources by 2030. EEX Transparency Platform: Increasing transparency in the renewables sector through partnership with OutSmart
The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has partnered with OutSmart Deutschland GmbH, a leading expert for assets in the renewable energy sector and a subsidiary of Deutsche Windtechnik. Both companies aim to increase the transparency and efficiency in the energy market, and in particular, the integration of renewable energy. The cooperation focuses on the regular publication of the capacity and availability of renewable energies on the EEX Transparency Platform, the leading central Inside Information Platform in Europe. OutSmart can forward already available data for the optimisation of assets to fulfil disclosure requirements under the regulation on Wholesale Energy Market and Integrity (REMIT) for their clients. EEX aims to keep engaging with renewable energy players like those who are directly involved in the renewables business by collaborating with OutSmart. Both partners seek to bring this key part of the value chain closer to the wholesale market and support market participants in the energy transition.
